That is exactly why we created our Ajuda Support Service ("Ajuda" literally translates to "Help" in Portuguese!). Think of us as your personal local concierges and problem-solvers. We are here to bridge the gap and make your everyday transition as smooth as possible.
Our Ajuda support covers a wide range of practical needs, including:
- Pre-Arrival Deliveries & Storage: This is a client favorite! You can mail your online purchases or essential packages to us before you even land. We will safely receive and store them for you, and then bring them directly to your new home so everything is waiting for you when you arrive.
- Everyday Logistics: Navigating the local postal system, assisting with package deliveries before you have a permanent address, or finding trusted local professionals (like a plumber, electrician, or mechanic).
- Language & Translation: Translating official mail, helping you understand local contracts, or making phone calls on your behalf when English isn't an option.
- Administrative Guidance: Pointing you in the right direction for local registrations, setting up utilities, and answering any "how-to" questions about Portuguese systems.
How it works: Because we know how invaluable this support is during your first moments in Portugal, our Ajuda services are automatically included in all of our relocation packages to get you safely settled. Once your initial relocation phase is complete, you can easily renew the Ajuda service on an ongoing basis so you always have a local safety net.
